Who can become a partner

You are at least 18 years old and apply with your own name and email address. We review every application and may decline one without giving a reason. Your link and code only work once you are approved.

You take part as an independent business or as an individual on your own account. You are not our employee, agent or representative and you may not make commitments on our behalf.

You can be a customer and a partner at the same time. You earn nothing on your own account or your own company.

How a customer is attributed to you

A customer counts as your referral when they create a new account in the web app through your link (app.jiffy-invoice.com/r/your-code) or with your code. A link stays valid for 30 days for creating the account; a code can be entered up to the first payment.

• The first valid referral wins. A code entered later or a later click changes nothing.
• At the customer's first payment the attribution is locked and can no longer change.
• Only new customers count. An account that already existed before the click or the code does not count, even if the code is entered later.
• Referrals run through the web. We cannot link an install from the App Store or Google Play without a link or code to you.

Your commission

You receive a percentage of the net revenue of every payment by a customer attributed to you: the amount without VAT or sales tax, after discounts and after refunds. The commission runs for 3 years from that customer's first payment and then stops.

• Starter: 20% with 0 to 9 active customers.
• Partner: 25% with 10 to 29 active customers.
• Top: 30% with 30 to 99 active customers.
• Elite: 35% with 100 or more active customers.

A customer is active when they made a payment in the last 35 days or a paid period (for example an annual subscription) is still running. The percentage that applies at the moment of the payment is applied to that payment. A different percentage is only agreed in writing.

There is no commission on credit packs, on payments of 0, on a trial as long as it has not turned into a payment, and on payments by yourself, your own company or people in your own team.

Refunds and disputes

A commission stays pending for 30 days before it can be paid out. If the customer is refunded an amount or disputes a payment, the commission on that amount is reversed, even if it has already been paid out. A negative balance is offset against your next payouts.

Payout

Payouts go through Stripe. For that you complete Stripe's onboarding once: Stripe asks for your identity, your bank account and, where needed, your tax details. We do not see those details. Without completed onboarding you still accrue commission, but we do not pay it out.

• We pay out monthly, around the 5th of the month, once your payable balance is at least 50 dollars. A smaller balance rolls over to the next month.
• All amounts are in US dollars. Payments in another currency are converted at the European Central Bank reference rate on the day of booking. Stripe pays out in the currency of your bank account; the rate for that is Stripe's rate on the day of the payout. The cost of the transfer is ours.
• Above 2,000 dollars in a month we check a payout by hand first. That can take a few days.

Your dashboard and the monthly statement by email show your clicks, sign-ups, customers, bookings and payouts. Our ledger is authoritative. If you believe something is wrong, tell us within 60 days of the statement; after that the amounts count as approved.

Tax

You are responsible for the tax on your commission yourself: income tax, VAT and whatever else applies in your country. We withhold no tax unless the law requires us to. If you live in the United States, Stripe collects your tax form and we or Stripe may report an annual statement (form 1099) to the tax authorities. If you take part as a business with a VAT number or need an invoice or another statement, contact us.

How you promote Jiffy

You promote Jiffy honestly and recognizably. You may use our name, logo and images as we provide them; you do not alter them and you do not give the impression that you are Jiffy itself.

• In every post with your link or code you make clear that it is advertising and that you receive a fee, as the law and the platform's rules require (for example "ad" or "affiliate link", visible right at the post).
• You make no promises that are not true: no "free" for something that costs money, no invented earnings or savings, no features Jiffy does not have.
• You send no unsolicited emails or messages and do not place your link in spam, pop-ups, paid search ads on the name "Jiffy" or variations of it, or on discount and coupon sites without our written permission.
• You register no domain names, accounts or usernames containing "Jiffy" that give the impression of being official.
• You pay or reward nobody to sign up through you and do not sign up accounts for others yourself.

Abuse

In case of abuse the commission is forfeited, we block you as a partner and we offset what has already been paid out. Abuse includes, among other things: referring yourself, fake accounts, misleading advertising, circumventing the rules above and any behavior that harms us, our customers or the brand. We may suspend a payout while we investigate a suspicion.

Data

In your dashboard you only see numbers and a customer number without a name: never the name, email address or company of a customer. You use what you see in the dashboard only to follow your own numbers. How we handle your data is described in our privacy policy.

Term and termination

This agreement runs until one of us ends it. You can stop at any time by emailing us; we can end the partnership at any time by email, and immediately in case of abuse. After termination no new customers are attributed to you. Commission that has already accrued and has not been forfeited is still paid out under these terms. We may end the program as a whole with 30 days' notice.

Changes

We can change these terms and the percentages. We announce a change at least 30 days in advance by email and it applies to payments from the effective date. If you continue with the program after that date, you agree. If you do not want that, you can stop.

Liability

We offer the program as it is. We guarantee no clicks, sign-ups or earnings. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or lost income. Our total liability is limited to the commission we paid you in the 12 months before the damage.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, United States. If you live in the European Union and take part as an individual, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country and may bring a dispute before the courts there.
