How it works
How to make an invoice in four steps
- Pick a template, then fill in your name or business and your client. Add an address and email so your client knows who it is from and who it is for.
- Give the invoice a number and a date, and pick a due date. Use a new number for every invoice.
- Add a line for each product or job, with the quantity and price. Pick your currency and add sales tax if you charge it.
- Check the preview, then tap Download PDF and choose “Save as PDF”. Email the PDF to your client.
A good invoice has your details and your client’s, a unique invoice number, the invoice date and the due date, what you did with the price of each line, any tax, the total, and how to pay you.

Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes. No account, no watermark and no limit. Make as many invoices as you like and download each one as a PDF.
Can I use one of the Jiffy templates?
Yes. The 13 free templates of the Jiffy app are built in: the general and the simple ones, drawn exactly as the app prints them. The templates for every other trade come with Pro and Ultra in the app.
Do you store or see my invoice?
No. The invoice is built in your browser and nothing you type is sent to a server. Your last invoice is kept on this device so a refresh does not lose it. Start over clears it.
How do I save the invoice as a PDF?
Tap Download PDF. Your browser opens its print window: choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. On an iPhone, open the share button in the print window and save to Files.
What does the Jiffy app add?
