These terms apply to your use of Jiffy Invoice: the app for iOS and Android, the web app and the related website. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.
Who we are
Unlimited Scalability LLC 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200 Sheridan, Wyoming 82801 United States info@jiffy-invoice.com
The service
With Jiffy Invoice you create and send invoices and quotes, track who has paid, let clients pay online, manage recurring invoices, costs and receipts, and view reports. Jiffy is a tool. It is not an accountant, tax adviser or legal adviser.
Your account
You need an account. You are at least 18 and use the app for business. Enter correct details and keep your password and sign-in codes secret. We recommend turning on two-step verification. You are responsible for everything that happens with your account, unless it happens because we did not keep our own security in order.
An account is for one person. To work with more people, invite them as team members instead of sharing your login.
Teams and multiple companies
With a suitable plan you can invite team members and, with Ultra, manage several companies under one account. You see the number of people and companies per plan in the app.
- The owner of a company decides who gets access and which role that person has. A team member sees and edits that company's data, so only invite people you trust.
- The owner is responsible for what team members do in their company and must make sure they may share the invitee's details (name and email address) with Jiffy for the invitation.
- An invitation only works for the email address it was sent to. A team member can leave the team themselves; the owner can remove a team member at any time.
Your responsibility
- You are responsible for the content of your invoices, quotes and costs: amounts, tax, business details and whatever else the law in your country requires.
- You file your own taxes and keep your own records, including the original receipts, for as long as the law requires. Do not rely on Jiffy as your only copy. The reports in Jiffy are a tool, not an official tax return or bookkeeping.
- You may only enter data about your clients if you are allowed to, and you do not use the app to send unsolicited or misleading messages.
What is not allowed
You do not use Jiffy for fraud, false invoices, money laundering or anything else that breaks the law. You do not try to disrupt, copy or scrape the service or get around its security. You do not use the AI features to create unlawful, misleading or offensive content. In case of abuse we may block or end your account.
Plans and prices
Jiffy Free is free, with no end date, with the limits shown in the app: among other things 3 invoices per month, one person, one company and a selection of the templates. For more you need Jiffy Pro or Jiffy Ultra.
- Jiffy Pro costs € 19.99 per month or € 119.99 per year, excl. VAT. It includes unlimited invoices and quotes, automatic reminders, card and Apple Pay payments, your own logo, export, receipt scanning and cost tracking (a scan costs credits), basic reports, up to 3 people in your team, part of the templates and credits every period.
- Jiffy Ultra costs € 59.99 per month or € 359.99 per year, excl. VAT. It includes everything in Pro, plus recurring invoices, connecting cloud storage, the AI assistant, the logo maker, advanced reports, a home screen of your own, all templates, multiple companies, an unlimited team and more credits. Recurring invoices or cloud storage you had already set up with Pro keep working while you have Pro.
- Jiffy Custom (Custom budget) is a plan you build yourself: the number of invoices per month, the number of people and packs of features. The price, excl. VAT, depends on what you choose; per month you get 15% off and per year 40%. You see the exact price in the app before you subscribe. What you do not choose is not included. If you reach the chosen number of invoices in a month, you can extend your plan.
New accounts can try Jiffy Pro free for 7 days, once. For this you enter a payment method. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, the plan you chose starts and the first payment follows. Cancelling during the trial costs nothing; you then continue with Jiffy Free. You can also skip the trial and start with Jiffy Free right away.
The prices above are in euros. You pay in the currency of your company when Jiffy has a price for it; you see the exact amount in the app and at checkout before you subscribe. Where VAT or another tax applies it is added and you see it before you subscribe. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each chosen period, monthly or yearly (a Custom plan also weekly), until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in the app or through Stripe's customer portal. You keep your plan until the end of the paid period. Paid periods are not refunded, unless the law requires it.
If you cancel or switch to a lower plan, features of the higher plan may stop working, such as recurring invoices, automatic reminders, extra team members, extra companies or the receipt scanner. This does not delete any data.
You pay for a plan in the web app. The apps in the App Store and Google Play do not sell subscriptions. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe, whose terms also apply.
We may change prices and what the plans include. We tell you about a price change in advance. It takes effect from your next period, and you can cancel before then.
Credits and AI features
Some features use AI and consume credits: adjusting a template, having a design made, having a logo made, scanning a receipt and similar features. You receive credits with your plan each period and can buy more. You see the number of credits a feature costs before you use it. If an AI request fails because of an error on our side, you get the credits back.
Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred and are not refunded or exchanged, unless the law requires it.
The result of AI may contain mistakes. Always check a scanned receipt (vendor, date, amounts, VAT) and a design before you use them. You remain responsible for your records.
An AI logo is made by an image model and may resemble existing logos or brands. We do not guarantee that it is unique or can be registered as a trademark. Check that yourself before you use it. You may use the logo you choose or build yourself for your business.
Which data we send to our AI providers, and when, is described in the privacy policy. That only happens after you have given your permission.
Online payments
Online payments from your clients are handled by Stripe, on your own Stripe account. Stripe's terms and fees apply. The money goes directly from your client to you. We do not receive or hold it and are not a party to the agreement between you and your client. You handle refunds and payment disputes yourself with your client and with Stripe.
Connecting cloud storage
You can connect Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. Jiffy then places a copy of your sent invoices and quotes, receipts and exports in your own storage, in a folder that Jiffy creates. This works in one direction: what you change or delete in your storage does not come back into Jiffy.
Your storage is a service of Google or Microsoft and is covered by their terms. We are not responsible for those services, for a file that disappears or is changed there, or for a connection that stops working because you or the provider revoke access. Jiffy is not your only archive. Keep your records yourself as well.
Only an owner or admin can make a connection. You can disconnect at any time in the app. Files that are already in your storage stay there.
Your data
Your data and the content you put in Jiffy stay yours. You allow us to process, store and display them to provide the service. You can export your invoices and costs. How we process personal data is described in the privacy policy.
Our property
The app, the website, the design, the templates, the texts and the Jiffy Invoice brand are ours or our licensors'. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the app and the templates for your own invoices and quotes for as long as your account exists. You may not resell them or offer them as your own template library.
Feedback and ideas
If you send us an idea or a report, we may use it to improve Jiffy without owing you anything for it.
Availability
We do our best to keep Jiffy available and free of errors, but provide the service as is, without a guarantee that it always works or is fit for a particular purpose. We may take the service offline temporarily for maintenance. We may change or stop features. If a change removes a feature you pay for, you can cancel and we arrange reasonable compensation for the rest of the paid period.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage, lost revenue, missed payments, tax penalties, mistakes in AI results or loss of data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the damage. This does not limit liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, nor the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
Ending
You can delete your account at any time in the app, under More. Cancel a running subscription first. After deletion your data is gone and links you have sent stop working, so export and keep what you need first. We may end your account if you breach these terms or if we stop the service. In the latter case we tell you well in advance and you can export your data.
Changes
We may change these terms. The new version is published here with a new date. For important changes we let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Jiffy afterwards, you agree. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, United States. If you live in the European Union and use Jiffy as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your own country and may bring a dispute before the courts there.
