What an event or wedding pro usually puts on an invoice
Events are booked well ahead and often paid in parts. Keep it clear:
- The event date, the venue and the names of the hosts or the couple.
- What is included: hours, services, setup and teardown.
- Rentals, travel and overtime on separate lines.
- The deposit to book the date, and the installments already paid.
- The balance and its due date.
- Your cancellation terms, if you have them.

Can I take a deposit to book the date?
Yes, on every plan. Add a deposit to the quote; your client pays it when they sign.
Can a client pay in installments?
Yes. Add up to 11 installments after the deposit, each with its own date. Your client sees what to pay and when.
